About Us

When I was in college, I had a persistent, gnawing feeling that there had to be more out there. More than the jobs I had seen growing up. More than the typical tracks I was told were available to me. I had the drive, but I didn’t have the map. Most of the women I knew growing up in the Midwest were teachers, nurses, or stay-at-home moms. Amazing women - but I couldn’t help but feel like I was built for something a little different. Something creative. Exciting. Fulfilling.

Fast forward to today: I run a kitchenware design brand in New York City - a field I didn’t even know existed when I was 19. I found my way here through curiosity, blind confidence, and a few very lucky risks. And now, I want to be the person I needed back then - for you.

I always said I wanted to “help people,” but I didn’t want to ignore the creative side of me that loved design, aesthetics, and building something new. I thought maybe I’d be a therapist, but had no clue how to actually become one. I didn’t know what internships to get, what salaries to expect, or how people got into industries that weren’t medicine, education, or law. I was a smart girl with no blueprint.

So I made one.
And now I’m sharing it.
